Well, it has been awhile since i visited this site. Been too busy training. We got a bit of snow in the last 2 days...a bit challenging for training. Thank goodness we are tapering. Just days away now... California International Marathon. I'm pretty excited about this trip, will be staying at a friends house in Sacramento and hope to see a bit of San Francisco while we are there.
It more like a working holiday - Marathoning is hard work! After the event, Chris (my guide) and I will be doing a presentation on Ushers/guiding. When we get back, we will take a short break from training and perhaps do a little skiing and rock climbing.

ReplyDeleteWe had some fun didnt we? what an incredible experience. So many extened their friendship, sometimes it was quite overwhelming. Your presentation alongside Richard & Mary were inspiring. The marathon itself, what a great event, Your 2nd in VI category and US Association of Blind Athletes Gold was well deserved after all the months of training. Now for some rest time after 5 marathons in 14 months
